8×10, $150.00 (2000dpi | ~940MB | ~20,200px by ~16,200px | Full Frame)
11×14, $230.00 (Full Frame)
*All drum scans include a free look-over and minor “dust-busting” to take out visible dust associated with the scan process itself but not dust embedded within the film emulsion or present upon shutter release. We can do further retouching billable at $75.00/hr rounded to nearest half hour.
**Why so big on the 120 film? We scan at 8000dpi for 120 film because we want to retain your film grain and 8000 is an optimal dpi for doing just that. We can down-sample from this in order to give our customers a reliably sized file with full grain detail. (A down-sampled image from an ultra-high-res scan still retains way more detail and depth than a scan done natively at the down-sampled resolution.)

Invoices and Fees
For each job or project, we prepare a work order. This work order accounts for all known work costs and material costs associated with the job including scanning, printing, shipping, labor, and more. While we attempt to account for all variables, things change throughout a job’s progression and the work order only stands as a reference document by which we can run estimates and the job itself. For large jobs, over $5,000.00, we require a 30% deposit against the estimated final cost before we begin. A 10% per month over-due fee applies to all invoices unpaid after 30 days of job completion. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without notification. We will not increase per-item prices on open jobs unless we are losing money on the job due to increased overhead and complexity associated with experimental processes.
We can email you PDF invoices and provide you with year-end invoice totals for tax preparation. We email late-payment reminders on over-due bills.
Liability
While we are very careful when handling all client work, we are not liable for the loss, destruction, or damage of any client work including film, print, file, sculpture, or any other item belonging to the client. When it is deemed by the client and us that we are responsible for a damaged negative or positive we will replace that physical object with a corresponding amount of film or a free re-print respectively. This only accounts for items deemed damaged at Black Point Editions itself. We hold no responsibility for items outside of our physical proximity. We can insure all carrier transportation at cost.
